I’m planning to do this activity with my two Latin homeschooling classes tomorrow – mapping the country of Italy and its geography. Thank you for sharing how it went with you. We were planning to do the no-bake version, but it just doesn’t sound all that good to me. I think we’ll go ahead and use a different dough recipe and bake them instead…and decorate them toward the end of class, after they are baked.

Oh my gosh – this is great! THe only problem I can forsee is I don’t know how I could restrain myself from eating all the materials before the project was completed!

How cool! I think we will try that. Glad to see too that you have a boy who doesn’t wear much clothes. As fast as I tell my son to get clothes on he takes them off again. It is suppose to be a sign of high creativity, that is what I keep telling myself anyway!
