My husband and I have a lot if things in common, but our approach to Black Friday is NOT one of them.
He is planning an all-nighter tonight. He’ll be hitting some stores that open at midnight for “early sales” and shop through the night until he has to get in line for the stores that open at 4 a.m. I appreciate his commitment to save money and his help in getting Christmas shopping done…but I could never stand to miss that kind of sleep or face the crushing throng of Black Friday shoppers. I prefer to do my Black Friday shopping online, in my jammies, with a cup of coffee at hand and Christmas music streaming from a minimized internet site! I won’t have to be up at 4 a.m., because these sale runs through midnight on Saturday. I have a long list of books and tapes on my wishlist, and the boys want some toys from the Chivalrous Boyhood line.
